Rehoboth Cooperative Preschool exceeded my expectations, by far. I enrolled my 4 year old son, so that he would be ready for Kindergarten. When we took him for DIAL screening to start Kindergarten, he tested at least 2 years ahead of his age on almost every test. I give all the credit to the school and the awesome teachers! I also enrolled my 2 year old daughter at the same time. She is getting ready to go into the 4 year old class now. I have no doubt that she will be just as, if not more, prepared for Kindergarten next year as her big brother was last year!

Our three children were very fortunate to have experienced Rehoboth Cooperative Preschool as their introduction to formal education. in this comfortable, close-knit and caring atmosphere, all three mastered the skills required for an easy transition to kindergarten.

We feel the solid foundation laid by Rehoboth Co-op has fostered in each of our children their positive attitude toward learning. We were particularly pleased with the genuine continuity of commitment the teachers and volunteers of Rehoboth Co-op exhibited through the entire breadth of our experience with them.

Both of our boys went through Rehoboth Cooperative Preschool, and it was a rewarding experience for our entire family. Both of our children went into Kindergarten prepared academically and socially. As for myself and my husband, we sent them to Kindergarten confidently, and with the information we needed to adjust into their schools.

Not only is Rehoboth Cooperative Preschool a wonderful “stepping stone” to Kindergarten, but it is a community of its own! To this day, I meet and speak with people my children went to preschool with (some well over 7 years ago), and other parents with alumni children. I always hear wonderful things from these parents, and we left this preschool with strong friendships and great memories!

Personally, I found RCP to be one of my most rewarding life experiences, not only because of the benefit to my children, but for myself as well. I enjoyed the “Cooperative” part of this preschool, and it taught me how to participate in my children’s education in a helpful and constructive manner. After both my children passed through, I became employed at Rehoboth Cooperative Preschool as the Two-Year-Old teacher because I loved the school and its community enough to stay!
