The scoop on being part of a Cooperative Preschool

A cooperative preschool is a community of parents and teachers working together to provide a rich learning environment for their children.

Parents can actively participate in their child’s first school experience.

More than ever this is an engaging thought. Our world has become increasingly impersonal where everything feels like we have no role to play. This is not the case at a cooperative preschool.

Parents of a cooperative preschool can be involved in their school community. They can participate in activities and have some control over how the program evolves. As the children experience the enchanted world of first-time learners their parents can witness these memories with their own eyes.

Finding the time to enjoy our children today is hard in this hectic world. However, what better way to spend a sunny autumn morning than riding in a hay wagon with your four-year-old.

For a cooperative preschool, parent support is priceless. With this valuable resource a cooperative receives the benefit of numerous interests and talents offered by their parents. The parent resource creates a unique learning experience for the children.

Parents and children of a cooperative preschool, develop an extended family with friendships that follow them long past their preschool days.

 Rehoboth Cooperative Preschool

Since 1969 Rehoboth Cooperative Preschool has been a community based educational family that has been beginning friendships and creating memories.

At Rehoboth Cooperative Preschool our caring community of families and staff work together to provide our children with a wonderful first learning experience in a nurturing environment.

Parents can actively participate in various ways such as providing snacks, being on the executive board, working on a committee and by attending general meetings.

Committee work plays an important role in helping the preschool run smoothly. Parents find their niche in one or more of our committees where they offer their talents, skills and experience.

What better way to promote the importance of education to your child than being a part of their first school experience.

The experiences you and your child will have as part of the Rehoboth Cooperative Preschool will bring a smile to your face for years to come.
